Welcome to The Lighthouse Project
The Lighthouse Project provides support to children and young people with social and emotional needs. Many of these children have difficult backgrounds, live in poverty, are disabled or have experienced social exclusion within their community. We work within local schools and communities providing fun and interactive workshops, activities and events for children to enable them to reach their full potential. The Lighthouse Project is dedicated to improve and impact upon the lives of young people and helping them to generate change; together building a safer, closer community for them to grow up in.
Our workers provide a range of targeted programmes that increase self awareness, confidence and improve self esteem. We work in close partnership with schools and other community support groups to ensure children and young people have accesss to services available to them. At the Lighthouse project we strongly believe that children and young people need the support to realise what they can acheive and actively make a change. We do not charge for our services but rely heavily on our fundraising events. The generosity of our supporters enables us to continue to reach and help the children and young people who need it the most in our local communities.
